The Graduate and Professional Student Federation (GPSF) has submitted the following report to the UNC administration and Board of Trustees regarding the future of the Confederate Statue, known as Silent Sam, based on feedback from UNC students. We hope UNC administration and the Board of Trustees take student feedback first and foremost into account when preparing their final recommendations to the Board of Governors.”
