UNC’s SHAC Clinic is the oldest student-run free clinic in the US. Join us in celebrating the SHAC’s 55th anniversary at the inaugural SHAC 5K & Health Fair on Saturday, November 12th!
What: 5K run/walk followed by a celebration with food, music, games, free preventive health screenings, and more!
100% of the proceeds will go towards SHAC’s free health services for our uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham. Whether you sign up for the 5K, donate, or swing by the health fair – your help and support is greatly appreciated!
When: Saturday, November 12th
5K Start Time: 7:30am (please arrive by 7:15am)

Parking: Any lot nearby is open and free on Saturdays. You can also park anywhere on Franklin St and walk over!
Payment & Registration:
$25.00 + $3.25 processing fees* (Pre-registration by Thursday, November 8)
$30.00 + $3.25 processing fees* (Day-of registration on Saturday, November 12)
Day-of registration will be available 7:00-7:30AM on race-day at the check-in table.

T-Shirts: Participants who pre-register by October 31st will be guaranteed a free T-shirt. Participants who sign up between Nov 1st and Nov 12th will receive a T-shirt as available. Packets (race bib with pins) and T-shirts will be distributed the morning of the race.
Awards: Prizes will be given to the overall first, second, and third place runners, as well as the top male and female runners in each age group: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
