If you’re in graduate school, you probably have a CV: a long list of research, teaching, and service activities that shows your aptitude for a job in academia. But if you’re considering a career outside academia (or if you’re pursuing internships), you probably need a resume instead. So what’s the difference? How do you translate your academic skills to nonacademic settings? And how do you accomplish your goals in two tailored pages that will help you land an interview? We will explore these questions together through a variety of interactive activities. Graduate students and postdocs at any stage of their training are welcome to attend.

The workshop will be hosted Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 10-11:30 a.m. in person at the Graduate Student Center.
