Senators
Student senators make important decisions regarding policies, funding, and advocacy issues. Students from each department/program can elect up to two senators to represent their respective department/program.
Is there a vacancy for your department or program? Don’t see your department or program at all? Email Senior Vice President Xavier Daniels to get involved!
Have a complaint that you’d like the GPSG senate to tackle? There are a couple ways to proceed!
- Come to a senate meeting! Any member of the UNC community is welcome to attend and speak at any senate meeting. If you’d like to speak at an upcoming meeting, please contact Senior Vice President Xavier Daniels at least a week in advance for more details.
- Tell your senator! While anyone is welcome to attend meetings, only senators may submit and vote on legislation. We encourage every graduate and professional student to make use of their senators and make their voices heard!
